The deal is intended to expand both organisations’ influence across the UK property investment market while maintaining their distinct brands
GetGround has acquired Manchester-based property investment distribution and media group BuyAssociation, bringing together two established operators with complementary strengths.
The deal is intended to expand both organisations’ influence across the UK property investment market while maintaining their distinct brands.
BuyAssociation has become a major distributor of off-plan investment opportunities over the past two decades, working with reputable developers and serving a wide network of domestic and international investors.
The company also operates a well-ranked property investment news service.
GetGround, launched in 2020, provides 30,000 active UK property investors with an integrated digital platform for investment, ownership and management, and supports a wider global community of 200,000 landlords with sourcing, finance and insurance services.
Integrating BuyAssociation’s distribution infrastructure and experienced team strengthens GetGround’s objective to sit at the centre of the UK property investment ecosystem.
The acquisition comes as the new-build market evolves, with developers favouring distributors offering certainty of sales and access to qualified buyers.
Together, the combined business aims to deliver a more reliable route to market for developers and a larger supply of vetted opportunities for investors.
Moubin Faizullah-Khan, CEO of GetGround, said: We have worked with the BuyAssociation team for many years, supporting the same clients to source, fund and manage their investment properties.
This deal is a natural extension of that partnership and sets us up well to hit our growth goals. Combining BuyAssociation’s reach with our technology platform helps us all to deliver market-leading stock, service and long-term outcomes for both developers and investors, he said.
All BuyAssociation employees will move across as part of the transaction.
Senior leaders including Sam Hadfield (group MD), Katie Walker (group commercial director) and Henry Shaw (sales director) will join GetGround’s senior management team.
Founder and CEO Caroline Marshall-Roberts will step back from day-to-day responsibilities but will remain as a senior adviser.
