Property developer could invest millions into schools and health facilities

Education and medical facilities in Elgin could be given a multi-million pound boost as part of a massive housing project.

Springfield Properties are poised to begin the first phase of a development that will lead to 2,500 homes in the south of the town over the next two decades.

Councillors are due to meet later this month for two meetings where planning permission could be granted for the initial buildings.
