PropTech app Jitty raises $$3.8 million seed funding

The funding will be used to grow the team, expand its reach across the UK, and develop features

A PropTech app called Jitty – which allows agents to list properties for free – has announced that it has raised $$3.8 million seed funding.

The chief contributor is REA Group, an international digital business organisation.

Jitty claims its platform is “widely regarded as the easiest way for home buyers to discover the exact home they are looking for in the UK” and has amongst its agency customers what it describes as “well-known estate agents such as Nested, Meyers, Boardwalk, and Keller Williams Scotland.”

Built by people behind part of the Deliveroo business, Jitty uses AI to list properties “with full visibility, accurate data, and seamless integration with agent tools – enhancing both transparency and usability”, it says.

The funding will be used to grow the team, expand its reach across the UK, and develop features.

International expansion is also on the roadmap, following the continued traction across the UK, it states.

A spokesperson for the service comments: This investment marks a huge moment for Jitty. We have seen fantastic growth since launch, and this funding lets us accelerate our rollout, expand our partnerships, and double down on our mission to build the future home-buying experience. We are thrilled to welcome  REA Group as partners – their global expertise and commitment to innovation will be invaluable as we scale.

And a REA Group spokesperson adds: We believe the next frontier in property discovery is highly immersive, helping buyers visualise a home as if they are physically there. Jitty’s pace of growth in redefining traditional property discovery via computer imagery in a short time is impressive.
