Stoke-on-Trent at top of buy to let market

Property investors get more for their money in Stoke-on-Trent than any other city in the UK, a study has found.

Lower house prices and a thriving student market helps push up yields here and placed the city at the top of a buy-to-let league showing the best returns for landlords who put their money into bricks and mortar.

The Potteries beat cities such as Oldham, Liverpool, Leeds and Middlesborough in the report by crowdfunding platform, Property Partner, using data from Home.co.uk which ranked the country’s 100 biggest towns and cities.
