The Howden Group, which acquired UK mortgage broker SPF Private Clients in 2022, is expanding further into the mortgage market with the acquisition of Dublin-based financial services firm Finance Solutions.
Finance Solutions, founded in 2011 by Ken Murray, specialises in mortgage broking, as well as providing customised financial solutions like life cover, income protection, investments and pensions. The business serves around 7,000 clients with 40 members of staff.
Aston Lark Ireland, which will rebrand to Howden Ireland in coming weeks, has agreed terms to acquire Finance Solutions subject to regulatory approval. Finance Solutions will become a part of the Howden Ireland structure.
