$5.5m (£4.27m) not enough to buy Brisbane’s ‘property without peer’ at auction

Of the five properties for auction in Ray White’s in-room auctions in Eagle Street, all eyes were on the sale of 56/410 Stanley Street. Two bidders and dozens of spectators were present for the sale.

Bidding for “Brisbane’s best” penthouse started at an eye-watering $4 million (£3.11 million), only five bids shy of the final bid. Bidding was short, competitive, and sharp.

The Park Avenue building’s Penthouse located in South Bank is one of the most expensive, exclusive, and expansive apartments in Brisbane. The multi-level skyhome stretches over more than 1000 square metres of floor space, one of just three that large in the entire city.
