Housing developer starts work on £58m development in Holt

Housing developer Lovell has started work on a £58m development comprising 213 new homes in Holt.

It follows the completion of the new roundabout on the A418 bypass.

Heath Farm on the town’s south-eastern edge was earmarked for housing by North Norfolk District Council as part of a wider development also set to bring new jobs and employment opportunities.

Lovell will build 162 homes for open market sale and 51 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership, which will be owned and managed by Victory Housing Trust. The properties will feature traditional brick, render and flint finishes.

The overall housing scheme is set for completion in 2023 with the first new homes for sale at the end of this year.
