Hayfield has boosted its finance team with new appointments as it looks to double annual turnover to £100m
Solihull housebuilder Hayfield has boosted its finance team with a quartet of new appointments as it looks to double annual turnover to £100m this year.
Amanda James has joined the team as a management accountant, Bonnie Cooke as an accounts supervisor, Lauren Williams as accounts payable assistant and Hayley McGorie as accounts assistant.
Ms James was previously in the funeral care division of Midcounties Cooperative and both Ms Cook and Ms Williams have joined Hayfield from the finance department of facilities management specialist Imtech Inviron, also based in Solihull.
Ms McGorie previously worked at Solihull-based Wattrus Group which specialises in building installations, soft furnishings and flooring.
Hayfield’s finance director Jim Thompson said: We are really pleased to have strengthened our finance department with the range and depth of experience that Amanda, Bonnie, Lauren and Hayley bring to the team.
Seeking to double the turnover of any company over a 12-month timeframe is a huge undertaking and the housebuilding industry has many additional complexities, such as multiple funding lines, grants and legal obligations, he said.
Having the additional in-house resource to meet the needs of the business at this critical period will support the work carried out by everyone based in Hayfield’s offices and out on site, he said.
In other property news, Birmingham-based Principle Estate Management has recruited experienced surveyor Richard Coles to head a new department that will bring long-term maintenance and major works in-house.
Mr Coles has joined from Blacksons Chartered Surveyors where he was associate director and in his new post as senior building surveyor will lead the department.
Property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has grown its planning, development and regeneration team in Birmingham.
Jeevan Thandi has joined the city centre agency as senior planner from Rapleys where he was involved in a wider range of residential, mixed-use and commercial development projects across the Midlands.
Developer Stoford has appointed Stacey Green as its new planning manager as it looks to expand its commercial investment opportunities across the UK.
Ms Green joins the business from planning and design consultancy Barton Willmore in Birmingham where she was a planning associate.
She has more than 14 years of experience in the planning sector, having worked with local authorities including Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Bromsgrove District Council and planning consultancies.
In this newly created role at Stoford, she will work with the expanding in-house land and planning team, identifying new sites for its development pipeline.
