New-build sales optimisation platform Unlatch has been appointed as a partner to Third.i Group, an Australian-founded developer which launched its first UK project last year.

The project, Graphite Square, is a mixed-use residential and co-working scheme in Vauxhall that will deliver 161 homes and 80,000 square feet of co-working space over three floors. The £180 million Graphite Square build has been credited as the fastest selling development in the UK.

Third.i Group’s first project in the UK was also reported as being the fastest built timelined development project in Britain, having only begun in October 2021 and with piling completed in just seven months.

Unlatch is a proptech solution that new homes developers and specialist estate agents can use to boost their administration and reservation process by automating function and communications into one platform.

Unlatch was an obvious evolution for us as a company, Julian Sedgwick, director at Third.i Group, said. With so many stakeholders and board members operating across the world from Australia to Hong Kong and London, this centralised collaborative platform works in real-time which suits our business perfectly.

We are already taking reservations via Unlatch, and it is the only such system that directly integrates into operations and ensures that our customer facing processes are more efficient at scale. Communication, data analysis and operational processes are all much improved and allow our team to focus on competing deals, not just admin.

According to Unlatch director Lee Martin and Ron Dadd, UK managing director at Third.i Group, the Australian-founded developer is yet another major property developer that they have partnered with to improve the entire transaction for the developer and customers alike.

We are already seeing exchange times slashed from a UK average of 45 days to an average of just 25 days as a benefit of using Unlatch, Martin noted. This means faster monetisation and fewer fall-throughs – a no brainer.
